This settings change in Windows 11 allows any icon in the task bar to have the option when right click , to have the option to "end task"
Open settings and search for end task
select Enable end task in taskbar
This takes you to
System > For Developers
turn on the End Task option
If this is not available you can change this registry setting
in regedit.msc
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\TaskbarDeveloperSettings
change the value
TaskbarEndTask to 1 to turn on 0 to turn off
